Nothingness
Nothing in this world is absolute. Not even a pact between body and soul, the love or hatred between man and blood clans, or the differences between serephim and daemons.
虛無樂園, or Nothingness , is an ongoing fantasy fic that my friend, Yusan, has been writing since the beginning of time. The Chinese title of the book is inspired by John Milton's Paradise Lost, which is translated as 失樂園, and its sequel Paradise Regained, or 復樂園. Paradise Lost explores the story of the Fall of Lucifer, and Paradise Regained is about the trials of Jesus. Nothingness attempts to detail an alternative ending for the fallen serephim. Yusan isn't religious; she simply likes reading about and researching Western literature, so expect references to the Bible, historical events, literary classics, and Latin. Ideas explored include human nature, temptation, and original sin; read with caution. Milton is indisputably a literary giant and is one of Yusan's favourite poets. Her story is meant to celebrate and pay respect to Milton, and she means absolutely no offense.

⚠️ As of 2018, all links to the original work have been removed temporarily. The story will be on hiatus as Yusan is very busy with schoolwork and life. It is not abandoned, however; notice will be given if there are future updates.

🐝 - Along with The Clacking Action, Nothingness is one of the first prose pieces I've translated, and it has been great fun.
